Lewis Carroll’s ‘The Walrus and the Carpenter’ comments on a person’s use - or abuse - of others through the form of betrayal. In this poem, the walrus and the carpenter trick the oysters with false promises as they lure them to their unexpected deaths.

This collection is dedicated to the oysters of the world. Those who have ever felt betrayed or simply let down by their own expectations. Those still figuring it all out. The wide-eyed and innocent - young, clueless, and “pure.”

Embracing bright colors and bold silhouettes inspired by the animated interpretation of “The Walrus and the Carpenter,” this collection celebrates the bumbling oyster in all of us.
